International Monitoring Project in Guatemala - Preparation Seminar CAREA eV
CAREA prepared from 24.03 eV. 27/03/2011 to present in the vicinity of Mainz on the work in the internat monitoring project in Guatemala. Accompanied survivors of the massacres committed during the civil war that have agreed to testify in trials of senior military and human rights defenders have been threatened because of their work.
conditions: participation in the preparatory seminar, fluent English, desired minimum age 23 years, previous experiences in Guatemala or the Latin America, minimum stay 3 months, self-financing of the stay.
We recommend a long-term planning of the project deployment.
is the seminar to include History and current situation in Guatemala, the status of implementation of peace agreements and the presentation of the project. There are lectures, workshops and role play.
